Overall it went really well and not much time waiting at all (basically none). I do notice every time I'm there the line out front. It seems to take awhile to check each person in, take the copay, and also check out patients. Those on crutches, etc seem to have a hard time standing in line to wait especially once you're done you basically have to stand in line again to check out. Seems there'd be a quicker way of getting people through since there's typically 3-4 at the front desk. Example of how it's done at Mayo where they had no lines ever...the patient checks in on a kiosk (there are about 4-5 to use) using name and dob. Then they sit down and receive a text when it's time to go back and it says which door to head towards. There's no one verifying any info or no one paying copays, so there are no lines or people standing uncomfortable. This would be great for all of Reid offices, (including the lab!!). There was 1 employee at a desk who could do check in but only if there was someone who simply couldn't or if the kiosk flagged them to see a team member. 99% though completed it themselves in under a minute and sat down.

I was very satisfied with my visit with doctor Kwong He always explains everything , making it easy to understand. I also want to mention the young man Who was the receptionist the day I came. He saw to it that the questionnaire sent by united healthcare was filled out properly. Contacted me at home to come SIGN my portion which I was unaware I HAD TO DO .

They were all very understanding and answered all my questions.

The provider was running almost 1 hour behind and when I checked in they could have told me so I didn't sit and wonder what time I would be seen . I do understand providers could run behind but explaining that at check in would be nice so I would know . Then there was an employee that told another patient they were running 1 hour behind so I ask her if she said they were and she said No when that was not the truth .

Had to wait over an hour past my appointment time.

As someone who is a bigger sized person, but also suffers from an eating disorder, one of the first things a doctor says to a patient he has never seen before should not be "you don't look like you have poor appetite" before going on a spiel about losing weight, when he doesn't even know my full medical history, nor was that the issue i was coming to him to see. I have never been so ashamed in a doctor's office and I would not return to his office, even if my life depended on it.

Dr Kwong was very thorough in his diagnosis...and very thorough in explaining the options available and unavailable to treat my health issues...and he explained everything in a manner that I could understand it..very comfortable with Dr. Kwong being my surgeon overseeing my best interests concerning these health issues and my overall well being...I will have no problem recommending Dr. Kwong and his medical expertise to family friends etc...and look forward to his continued care of myself going into the future ?? xxx
